INSURANCE BILLING
At RI Medical Massage LLC, we understand the importance of accessibility to quality care.
As an out-of-network provider, you are not required to obtain a referral from a doctor to schedule an appointment with us.
While we do not directly bill medical insurance, you have the option to seek reimbursement from your insurance company.
Upon request, we will gladly provide you with an itemized receipt for your records, facilitating the reimbursement process.
Our priority is to ensure that you receive the care you need without unnecessary barriers.

Cash, Personal Checks, Venmo, Credit & Debit Cards, HSA/FSA Account Funds

GRATUITY: 
 Therapists are welcome to accept tips from clients.
Our philosophy remains that  there is to be no pressure, obligation, or expectation placed on clients to tip.
Therapists will do their best work for every client, regardless of their ability or willingness to tip.

MASK WEARING & PPE:
At Rhode Island Medical Massage LLC, we prioritize your comfort and safety. Whether due to an autoimmune condition or personal preference, we happily accommodate mask requests during your massage session. Your well-being is our utmost priority, and we're committed to creating a welcoming environment where everyone feels supported and respected. We have medical grade HEPA filters available and well as kn95 masks for our therapists to wear if needed. Let us know how we can make your experience as comfortable as possible.

LATE ARRIVALS:
In special cases, and when our schedule will allow, we may be able to accommodate a partial or full appointment.
This will be at our discretion and only with proper, advanced notification of your late arrival.
The original reservation fee will be charged.

NO CALL / NO SHOW:
Clients more than 15 minutes late are considered a "No Show"
We ask that you call if you cannot keep your appointment.
Clients who miss more than one appointment or chronically cancel may be asked not to book again.

SICKNESS & COLDS 
Your health and safety, along with that of our therapists, families, and clients, are of paramount importance at Rhode Island Medical Massage LLC.
Please call to reschedule your appointment if you are feeling unwell in any way. This precautionary measure helps us maintain a healthy environment for everyone. We reserve the right to turn away clients who arrive with symptoms of illness, such as a cold, to safeguard the well-being of all.
We require a valid credit / debit card to be saved on file in the event of cancellations. ​

*Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice
​are subject to fee equal to original reservation*

TREATING MINORS:
The therapists at RI Medical Massage are trained and prepared to work with children.
If the child is younger than 18 years old, we will ask a parent or guardian to sit in on the treatment.

PRIVACY POLICY:
Your massage therapy records are kept in the strictest confidence by this clinic.
All client records are kept in a secure place and only those who need to see a client’s file
for legitimate business or professional purposes have access to them.
Your records will not be released to third parties, including health care providers
​and insurance companies without your written consent.
Records may be surrendered if required by law.

CONDUCT:
Inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.
Suggestive comments, sexual innuendos, touching of a massage therapist
in an inappropriate way, will result in the termination of the massage session
and the client will not be allowed to return for further massages.
​ Our full fee will be expected.​
